Room Redesign

Definition:  Interior Redesign is the art of using what people have in their homes to transform their spaces, without the need to purchasing new furniture. 

As a Redesigner I will work with your ideas, or come up with my own, to bring a fresh look to your home.  Sometimes it can be very hard for a client to take a step back and look at his or her home differently.  The client is usually very comfortable with the balance they have provided for themselves and change can seem awkward and unfamiliar.  However, Rooms Reinvented uses the client’s possessions to redo, renew and revamp.  It remains familiar yet brand new.

A room redesign starts with a consultation.  Your personal style will be addressed, how you use the room and also your expectations. Sometimes, all it takes is the introduction of a modern color scheme that can be worked throughout the house to bring freshness.  You will receive a written outline of the items that were discussed and a review of ideas you may want to do yourself. 

If the decision is made for a room redesign, your home will be “shopped” for items that can be used in other places.  This is also for idea gathering; maybe there’s a great lamp in the bedroom that would be just perfect in the living room.  Maybe a picture would be better in another room. The day of the redesign, the room will be emptied and then restyled. 

The consultation can also result in the discovery that the room needs new window treatments, maybe the addition of decorative pillows, area rugs, and plants, and perhaps a de-clutter.

Rooms Reinvented can redesign one room in less than a day.  That’s all it usually takes.  Clients are surprised, not inconvenienced. 

It is also up to the client to decide what to do, how much to do and when to do it.  That’s why we say, one room at a time, one room only, or an entire house.

Fees:

Redesign Consultation (one room – up to 2 hours):  $75.00

Redesign Consultation (two-three rooms – up to four hours): $225.00

Entire home walk through (up to four hours): $325.00

Redesigned room (4 hours - one room): starting at $250.00

Your fee will be determined at a prior consultation. Excessive moving of furnishings, accessories, or bookshelves may result in a higher cost. 

Entire home, up to two bedrooms, living room and or family room is based on $75.00 per hour
